Our flagship show on Friday and Saturday Nights, features two teams going head to head for laughs and points. This is a show appropriate for everyone.
THE LATE SHOW
Every Saturday night at 9 PM, ComedySportz players ditch their uniforms to bring an unrated version of long-form improv. This show is for fans 18 and older. We never know what’s going to happen, so, bring a helmet.
MINOR LEAGUE
Sunday Nights at 5 PM, the next generation of ComedySportz players are battling it out on the field. Take advantage of seeing the next round of top-notch talent before they get called up to the “bigs.”

INSIDER TIPS
Two teams of players compete in an improv match for laughs and points, with a referee getting suggestions from the audience and calling fouls. Each show is different, with different players, different games, and different audiences supplying new suggestions. The fans judge the scenes, and decide the winners and losers. If you like TV’s Whose Line Is It Anyway, you’ll love ComedySportz!
THE DJ
The Designated Jokester is unique to Comedy Sportz. This is a player who wears black and will play for both teams! Each team covets having the DJ and it gives them an extra advantage during the match. The DJ wants both teams to win. But let’s be honest, The DJ just wants YOU to win.
THE GROANER FOUL
No Dad jokes allowed! If a player says something that is so punny, so obvious, so “dad joke-y” that it actually makes you groan, the referee will throw the flag and the offending player will have to apologize to the entire crowd for making such a horrible joke. The stakes are high! If you don’t accept their apology points are taken away and they return to their bench… in comedy shame.
THE WHAPNERS
The winning team at ComedySportz is decided by you! We use Red and Blue Flyswatters as voting paddles. Not only are they cheap ($4), it guarantees that you will be an instant judge for the evening! Which team will get your vote?
THE OUT OF BOUNDS FOUL
ComedySportz is improv for EVERYONE. If a person says or does something inappropriate or offensive, the whistle is blown and they are removed for the rest of that round. Note that we didn’t say player but PERSON. That means the audience is held to the same standard. The out of bounds foul applies to EVERYONE..
